Trim Levels
The 2LT is the entry-level Blazer. It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, rear privacy glass, a manual liftgate, and heated and power-adjustable side exterior mirrors. Stepping up to the 3LT gets you a power liftgate, and another step to the RS adds 20-inch wheels, black exterior trim elements including a black grille, and a programmable power liftgate. The Premier is the top-level Blazer. It comes with chrome and silver exterior trim, 20-inch silver wheels, and a hands-free power liftgate.
Engine
All Blazer models except for the RS get power from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 228 horsepower. The RS uses a 3.6-liter V-6 with 308 horsepower, and this is optional for the 3LT and Premier. Both powertrains work with Chevy's nine-speed automatic transmission and come standard with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional, no matter which trim or engine you have.
Performance
The base engine has plenty of power for the Blazer, but if you're looking for more of a thrill behind the wheel, the V-6 quickly accelerates from a stop and provides added confidence when passing on the highway. The four-cylinder engine can tow up to 1,500 pounds, and the V-6 can pull up to 4,500 pounds. The Blazer is easily one of the best-driving crossovers you can find, with a suspension tuned for competence over twisty roads and a responsive steering system to go with it.
Interior
There's room for five in the Blazer with a design that looks a lot like the Camaro. The base trim comes with cloth upholstery and a power-adjustable driver's seat, while the 3LT gets leather-appointed seat trim and heated front seats. A heated steering wheel comes in the RS and Premier. Technology features start with a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio, and four USB ports. The 3LT offers the Sound & Technology Package with navigation, an eight-speaker stereo, and driver information display.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Chevy Blazer comes with Chevy Safety Assist. This group of advanced driver aids includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane keep assist. The Driver Confidence Package adds lane change alert, rear park assist, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. Add the Convenience Package for an enhanced version of the automatic emergency braking system that works at speeds under 50 mph and adaptive cruise control.
