My first visit with Ted Britt. Kamrin my service advisor was on point. I requested my first complimentary oil change be performed with Mobil 1 and told my advisor that if not covered, I would pay for the difference but Kamrin said there was no additional charge. I also have an issue with a side panel on driver side that has warped and seems to be not flushed and Kamrin said he would take pictures and inform me when the part comes in.

The first time I brought my car in, they didn't have the part to complete the repair (a bad sensor.) They said they would call me when it came it. I waited a day. I never heard. I proactively called on the second day, and they said the part was in and they could schedule the repair. When I asked for a loaner car or a ride, they said neither was available. I ubered home. I ubered back to pick up the car, which was done on time. The lack of shuttle rides, the lack of parts calls made me feel that I wasn't that important to the service department desk. I feel like the actual work was excellent.

dropped my husbands truck off with my husband on the 19th of Feb for a service appt for a recall to be fixed and had a couple questions about a non working touch screen for the stereo, gps system. My husband was very unhappy being charged $235 for a diagnostic fee when he already knew the problem. The diagnostic didn't do anything other than tell us what we already knew. There was no need for a diagnostic test to be done when all we needed was a price to get it fixed. We didn't get any diagnostic print out of what they did. Nothing was done. So when my husband left a review the Owner commented and told my husband to reach out to the dealership to see if they could make it right. Well my husband has called and tried to speak to Mark Faszcza multiple times and left multiple messages and no response. That's not very professional in our opinion and will be noted on the GM Survey as well. Not happy customer's. UPDATE: No we agreed to the recall being done not a diagnostic run. Since they did one where is the report we never got it. Because all they did was start the truck and push buttons and saw well yea it doesn't work. We will not be back sonce your team can't even call people back. You messed up bog time. We will refer all our clients to another dealership for work to be done.

I was denied a battery under the Ted Britt for Life program (TBFL) Under my TBFL from 2018 nowhere does it state that I have to have my vehicle serviced every 6 months. I only get my vehicle serviced at Ted Britt. Under TBFL you are entitled to 1 battery every 4 years as long as you have had your vehicle serviced at Ted Britt. My car is 7 years old and this is the first time I needed a battery based on the diagnostics that their mechanic performed. Not happy at all.

We came to the Ted Britt Chevrolet several weeks ago to test drive an Equinox EV LT. CJ was very helpful in arranging for that. At that time, we were only exploring and weren't ready to make a buy decision. CJ followed up but did not nag us. After further research (including visiting and communicating with other dealers), we were ready to begin more serious negotiations on an Equinox EV RS model. So, we came back to Ted Britt late on Sunday, CJ's day off. John stepped up and explained what we needed to know about the car, and he provided the dealership's first offer. The next day, we came back and worked with CJ again to arrange a final test drive and to finalize price negotiations. CJ worked with his sales manager, Dave, to give an updated offer that we couldn't refuse. We were very comfortable during the negotiations because there were never any high-pressure sales tactics used by the dealership staff. To finalize the paperwork, we worked with Will, who was very knowledgeable about all the legal requirements. The dealership has invested in a large, computerized display touchscreen work desk - think of your office desk with the top being a touchscreen. This allowed us to clearly see all the enlarged "paperwork" right on the literal top of the desk, allowing us to electronically sign all of the documents without squinting to read the "fine print." Will was very willing to answer all our questions in the detail we needed. He was even able to issue a DMV registration and assign Virginia tags that evening. Apparently, not all dealerships issue tags on-the-spot; this was our first time experiencing that service. Since it was late, we decided to pick up the car the next day. There was one minor problem with the DMV paperwork. Will was off at training, so we worked with Tony. He took care of the problem quickly, and then we worked with CJ to introduce us to the car. Because we had another appointment and had limited time, we needed to rush off before we could learn everything about the car's features. We live within 2 miles of the dealership, so it is easy for us to return to get help with our questions - which we have done several times. Both John and CJ are great to work with, and have been quick to respond whenever we drop in. We recommend the entire staff at Ted Britt Chevrolet. Not satisfied at all. I have to return the car because the error signal was still on. The staff did not check it. I had to come again. Waste of my time. Moreover, when I asked fora loaner car, the service rep flatly said there was no loaner available when there was one available at that time. . When I pointed out the loaner car which was parked there, then he said yes. This was very rude and unacceptable behavior on the part of the service rep.

beyond awful, now i know why you all have only a 2.3 star rating. First off, i went there for my “free” inspection. got failed, and they tried to bait and switch me a few times. one was to get my oil changed but i just got that done with you all the other day, and the tire rotation too! then they wanted to sell me the “original” headlights that came with the truck. i have those in my basement, its a new truck, why would i do that? they were dim yellow lights nearly impossible to see at night. and thats on a 2024, they should have come with LED. I didnt realize this until after i bought it. I upgraded to LED for over a grand ($) total. And, while i was there for my “Free” inspection, i was told it had a recall that no one told me about until i got there so the wait was that much longer. i had issues with service, right after i bought it, when the side/step rails were falling off. long story there. i will not go back unless something is under FREE warranty. it says, below, that i agree to let you post this, but i know you won’t, you will cherry pick the very few that may be happy with service.

Ted Britt dealership lied to me about my service plan when I bought my car, they told me that it covered everything that the service called for and it doesn't. It only paid for oil changes and tire rotation so I have been changing my filters after I found out that I was lied to by them. This visit I found out that I don't have Ted Britt for life anymore so I don't have to drive there for services any longer. (I have been going to Tedbritt since 1989) they have lost a longtime loyal customer from there service department. I have to add its no falt of the service department.

Once entering I was met by CJ one of the salesperson. He was very nice and informative about the car I was interested in, the Chevy Trak. It was so nice, (a breath of fresh air)to speak with one person who seemed to know all there is about a vehicle and purchasing and not have several people coming over adding info or repeating what he had already said, go back and forth and spend a lot of time. My spouse and I have bought 5 vehicles from Ted Britt Chevy/Ford and until recently have received stellar service from everyone from our favorite sale man, to our service advisers. However my most recent maintenance appointment confirmed that the quality and care has indeed taken a sharp dive. The day of my initial service, I made an appointment for service and state inspection for my Bolt EV at 1030. I was the only customer when I arrived, yet it took over 3 hours. Only one other person came in during that time, with an internal combustion vehicle and left at least 30 min before my car was done. My car failed the safety inspection, as expected, and repairs were completed at home. During the inspection, however, the technician stripped the threading on one of the lug nuts which caused the bolt to break when the tire was removed at home. Today after completing the additional repairs, I was told that it would be nearly $1150 for them to replace the part they broke and that I would fail the inspection again. This is an appalling cost for a part that can be purchased for less than $10 and could take a person with access to professional tools less than an hour to replace. The repairs completed at home saved me over $1200 in labor and took part of an afternoon without access to professional tools. If I can get the stud replaced before the 15 day window ends, it will be the last time I do business with Ted Britt.

My car had a remote starter system which was perfectly working for several months, I took my car for repair of for something totally unrelated to the remote starter system; they messed with it, couldn’t fix it and at the end they had to removed it and I had to pay for the extra work. Tony did not brush me off but helped make this purchase affordable. If all finance Reps were like Tony, there would be so many more buyers! They answered ALL of my questions even if it was repetitive. The dealership was clean and I can see the employees respected each other's space. They were not snobs at all!! My salesman, Mas Hill was fantastic to work with and made choosing the car a real pleasure. Negotiating the deal with his sales manager, Angel, wasn't as smooth. To begin with, the sales tax was grossly miscalculated, and when I pointed that out, he initially argued with me, despite it being obviously way off. Eventually we got to where we needed to be, but my previous new car negotiations have certainly been smoother. Then I was passed off to Tony, the finance manager. I told him very clearly that I just wanted to pay cash. He still persisted in trying to ram financing down my throat. It was painful. Had I known in advance that this experience awaited me, I would have gone to another dealer. The experience really tainted what was otherwise a good transaction. This kind of approach never works with me. I just shut turn off and get very irritated. I wasn't feeling my best that day or I would have gotten much more assertive in shutting this down.

There is not a warm inviting feeling like you actually appreciate your customers returning for service, people are short with responses, I felt like I was inconveniencing him, more interested in telling me what couldn’t be done than giving me options. Very disappointing. Problem wasn't fixed. Felt that problem wasn't fully looked into from the invoice and customer service interactions. I asked for special details about what was checked and what wasn't checked and was given the impression that that would be emailed or provided but was never sent. They said the did check and upgrade all the modules software. I think they did it so a little credit however I'm not really sure since that was part the details I requested. If I had to sum it up I feel the quality of the service match the quality of the Cruze.

I had an appointment on a Thursday at 1000 for a coolant leak, it didn’t get looked at until the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday… The mechanic did get it fixed quality after diagnosis and when the part arrived. Unfortunately the vehicle ended up back in the shop 5 days later for a transmission issue… It is at a GMC dealer in Winchester.

Deal was smooth for the most part. Will was great. Salesman made no mention whatsoever that an EV didn’t come with a charge cable and when asked how he expected me to be able to charge the vehicle laughed it off and told me at a charging station. Which would be fine if I didn’t live in WV and the only charging station within 20 miles of me wasn’t a Tesla charger which requires an adapter they also don’t have. Even a heads up at purchase would have allowed me to order or negotiate the price of a 3rd party cable into the deal since I’m reliant on trickle charging til a lvl 2 is installed in my garage at the end of the month. The call from the sales manager Angel was an absolute joke, couldn’t even admit that the salesman should tell me there was no cable. No apology whatsoever. Experience started great but definitely will not be back.

The experience with ordering the vehicle was great Niko and Angel were wonderful. However when I took my vehicle to get the windows tinted and the front of the truck clear coated is when things went south. I ordered color matched fender flares from Tedd Britt to be installed on the vehicle prior to me picking it up. Niko had sent me a picture of the truck and I noticed that the fender flares were not color matched. Niko and Angel apologized and said your right they were supposed to be and that they would take care of it. When I picked my truck up on June 28 I had noticed some issues with the paint on the passenger side rear fender wells. We pointed it out to and Angel agreed something was not right and I would bring it back for them to fix it on July 10. I left the dealership and drove the truck straight to the company that was going to tint the windows and put clear coating on the front and hood to help protect it against stone chips. I received a phone call from the company on Tuesday July 1 giving me an update on the vehicle. At this time they informed me that it would could an additional 200.00 because they had to clay bar and buff the area because the area was covered in black over spray. They started to inspect the rest of the vehicle and found the entire truck including the windows were covered in black over spray from when they colored matched the fender flares. I immediately contacted Niko and Angel to inform them of the absolute horrible job that was done when they color matched the fender flares. Both Niko and Angel apologized and agreed that Tedd Britt needed to make this right. The company I am using for the tint I have used on all me vehicles, so I asked them what needed to be done to fix the issue and if they were able to do it. They stated they could fix it, the entire truck would need to be clay barred, buffed and additional clear coating on the put on top. They agreed to send Niko, Angel and myself a quote for this. Angel agreed and said let’s get a quote and go from there to see if we would use them or if they would find someone else to do it. After having the night to truly process this and calm down from being extremely angry, I am not comfortable with anyone but this company fixing this issue. Tedd Britt needs to pay for this to be corrected by this company. We spent 72,000 dollars on this vehicle, this is not an issue that I should have to deal with. I realize this is not Niko or Angels fault directly. However this is a direct reflection on the Tedd Britt dealership. If you have any questions you may reach out to me directly at ****.

We stopped in the Sterling Dealership to "look" at the Chevy Trax. Mentally, we have been observing car sales ads and cars driving on the road, of all makes for the last 4 months. I ran into a satisfied Chevy Trax owner in a parking lot and talked to her about her Trax. She couldn't say enough about how satisfied she was. My wife has had multiple surgeries, joint related, but with a replaced hip and a shoulder that needs replacing, it was very difficult getting up into my small Toyota Tacoma without help. Our last new car purchase was 8 years ago. The Trax was roomy, easy to get into and out of, she liked the look of the car and the wheels! We didn't get a "loaded" package, but what was standard on the vehicle was more than enough bells and whistles for us seniors. John Gordon, the salesperson, was very helpful in helping us make a final decision.

This dealership has terrible service. This is the 5th time we have been over quoted for work. We took our car to another mechanic who found many items that were quoted were not in fact broke. This is terrible for a customer who has now bought 4 cars from this same dealership. The service team does not even come close to our experience with the sales team. This is not what I expect from a GM certified service center. I have only bought GM cars my entire life and very disappointed this is the closest GM service center to where I live.

I made an appointment with my service advisor, Heather Hoshall about a week in advance, she told me what day/time to bring my new 24 Chevy Tahoe in for it's first service. Dear GM Team - Early morning Sunday, August 17, 2025, my husband and I stopped by the Ted Britt Sterling, VA dealership to take a look at available 2025 Chevrolet Trax models I had been interested in for over a year. I had exhaustively looked at many used cars online and had started to consider purchasing new instead.The day before I had visited the Tysons Koons Toyota dealership but was informed that the model I wanted, 2025 Corolla LE, would be in stock and available in two weeks. It was very early at the Ted Britt that Sunday morning and my husband and I were very surprised when a very helpful George Tindall approached us and extended his help even the dealership had not yet opened. He gave us the information we needed as to availability, models, trims, etc. and gave us his business card before we left. Again, based on my wide experience as a customer in the automotive world & employee, Tony was lights out. He covered everything we indicated was a concern to us. His ability to find rebates we qualified for was like something I've ever seen in my 28 years associated with the automotive industry. Love the vehicle, but left in my new truck feeling like I got shortchanged, like the dealership gave me one last jab before I drove away. After doing all the paperwork and walking across the showroom to meet the salesman Guner, grab the keys, and drive off, I was given 1 key fob. I said "awesome, can you get me the other key?" Guner - "No, we got it from auction with only 1 key, you only get one key." My immediate thought was "what?" When did this become a thing or acceptable? I've never heard of buying a car from a new car dealer and only getting one key, I have always gotten 2 keys, especially after spending $60,000. Guner said "well, we did not talk about this yesterday when we made the deal, you did not ask if it came with 2 keys." Really? Am I supposed to ask if it comes with a spare tire and wiper blades also? I again requested 2 key fobs from Guner. After speaking with his sales manager Steve Pons, Guner said "my manager said there is no money left in the deal, if you want a 2nd key, we can do it here right now, but its approximately $611.00. Guner provided an printed Ted Britt Chevrolet estimate, $319.03 for parts and $292.00 labor to program the key fob. Guner also provided the contact information for a locksmith who could "do it cheaper." Disappointed, I thought about it and told Guner I would pay for the part if the dealership would provide the labor to program it a no cost. Guner said "No, we can't do that, that is a different department, there is no way to do that, you have to pay the full amount." Feeling uncomfortable and at a loss, I asked that Guner speak with his manager again to try and at least meet me half way. Guner returned with my check in his hand and advised that I can drive away with 1 key fob, or he could return my purchase check. I would hope that someone at GM and/or Ted Britt realizes this is a terrible way to end what should be an exciting experience. Crazy how far customer the customer experience declined from what it used to be. Very disappointing.

For the dealership: Mas Hill and Dre Chinkeefatt were courteous and provided comprehensive responses to my questions regarding the characteristics and functionalities of the 2026 Chevrolet Traverse, a vehicle I eventually purchased from them. Equally, Will Allen delivered informative overviews of all financing documents prior to signature. For Chevrolet: Please send me hardcopy owner's manuals free of charge for a 2026 Chevrolet Traverse, a mandatory component of any vehicle purchase. Having just dropped over $50,000 on this vehicle, it's the least a safety-driven automotive company can provide a customer with over 40 years of driving experience who relies on them for maintenance and emergencies. Without them, my safety is compromised as I no viable Plan B should I lose power in the vehicle. Requests for such to my dealership have gone unanswered to date. Thank you.

A little disappointed from day one with the communication and the lack of transparency regarding what was happening. My truck was in your hands from 8/11/25 until recently, when it was finished and picked up on 9/26/25. At no stage did anyone call me to update on the progress. I had to call several times for this myself. When I received text messages and called, I was told that these were only partial updates on parts deliveries, not work. Lastly, when I finally got it back, I hadn't even driven it a few miles, and the check engine light came on again. At this point, with the customer service and the back and forth with the vehicle, and then picking it up, I am still having issues - I am just taking it to another place to get fixed.

Made an appointment for an issue that was already diagnosed by mechanic. Was pretty much dismissed when explained the issue upon check in being told that that issue never really exists and they are sure it is something else. Waited three days to hear back before the car was even looked at. Then another two before they confirmed the mechanic diagnoses. Was given estimate and signed off on the repairs, Leak to right rear of moon roof. Was told there would be additional expense if the glass broke while replacing….why would I have to pay for that? On the 7th day I got a loaner because I was told it may be a few more days. Got a email at 5:24 the same evening saying it was ready for pick up, but they closed at 6. Received several emails calls and messages the following day to come pick up the car. I got there before 6 but the person who worked on my car was not there, I paid and left very disappointed. Sent a text to my representative: Jorge. A bit peeved at the moment. When I went to pick up the Traverse, there was still plastic all over the chair and paper on the floor. It also looked like water sprayed on the inside of the doors as there were water marks. The headliner is 3 times as stained as when I dropped it off, which means now I need to clean it to make sure it still isn't leaking. Not how I expected to get it back after it being with the dealership for 7 days and paying $1600.

Masame Hill did an excellent job in assisting me with my recent purchase of a 2026 Equinox RS-I want to give him an A+++++ for all of his efforts to satisfy my requirements for this purchase. However I have a ding in the A pillar that was overlooked when the vehicle was being detailed. I reached out to Ted Britt Chevrolet for a resolution and the manager said that there is no profit margin on this transaction and he already bent over backwards to assist me and would not make the PDR repairs for my new vehicle.***( Unfortunately Angel said there is nothing else we can do driving it from va to ohio that dent would be noticed you saw the Equinox before you left the dealership There is no profit margin in this deal we bend back wards taking the tag bracket off all season cargo mats etc) ***Text from Ted Britt Sales Manager-Angel Gammons- I have an appointment at Chevrolet service-the "check engine" light is on with less than 500 miles on the vehicle!!

The repair was ok. I think Ted Britt's TBL is misleading in that it's very hard to get loaner even when you have a morning appointment. And, appointment times are somewhat meaningless in that you really never know when your car/truck will be worked on so waiting is often not an option.

So when I was in for my oil change it was suggested for new tires and transmission flush which I scheduled it 2 weeks later but the pricing changed from the original price on my bill . Transmission flush price listed on invoice# CTCS844280 was $309.69 but I was charged $384.80 my service advisor Heather did get $200 charge removed and she is always helpful but I believe I was still charged to much. I paid $1514.04 and used $168.06 GM rewards So total paid was $1682.10. My total should have been $1432.64 plus tax. I would appreciate if someone would really review this and get back to me.

Setting up the appoitment was easy. The service advisor (Heather), greeted me with a smile, took my keys and I was there about an hour for my 15,000 mile check up and oil and tire change. Chris was very rude when trying to find out about my car . Telling me to be there 2.5 hours early to do a simple oil change was told it would be done shortly and they had yhr attitude of well wr don't carry about your day it takes what it takes. Never mentioned the time yhey told be to be there was check in time . With this I ha e to let them see my truck every 6 months tha at minimum to maintain the warranty thru ted britt never plan on taking it back to ted britt cheverolet I will try the ford dealer were I brought it from to see if they are any better .
