2024 Chevrolet Trax

The 2024 Trax currently comes in five different trims as part of the new generation: LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and Activ. Regarding standard features, 17-inch steel wheels, LED headlights, and black mirror covers are all included on the LS trim. The new 1RS level comes standard with all the LS features as well as 18-inch machined two-tone alloys, RS badging with a unique grille, and black bowtie emblems. All of the LS amenities as well as 17-inch machined two-tone wheels are found on the LT trim level. In addition to 19-inch machined two-tone alloy wheels and RS badging with a distinctive grille, the new 2RS includes all the amenities of the LT. The new top-tier Activ trim includes the LT's equipment plus 18-inch black aluminum wheels, a black grille with titanium-color chrome elements, and Activ badging.

The 2024 Chevrolet Trax has a 1.2-liter I-3 LIH turbocharged engine that generates 162 pound-feet of torque at 2500 rpm and 137 horsepower at 5000 rpm. It exclusively drives the front wheels and is connected to a GM six-speed automatic gearbox. Though all-wheel drive isn't available, the Trax is just as good at accelerating, either from a stop or up to highway speeds. The new Trax will even travel from zero to 60 mph faster than the previous model, taking 8 seconds instead of 9.7 seconds.

The suspension performs well on tougher roads while providing sufficient damping to reduce body roll, giving the ride and handling balance a balanced feel. With a 4 mpg increase in city driving over the previous model, the SUV will now achieve up to 28 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and up to 30 mpg combined. A smoother, quieter ride is made possible by the substantially extended wheelbase, MacPherson strut front suspension, and Active Noise Cancellation technology.

The Trax LS and 1RS grades come standard with an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen from Chevy, which is already larger than the most upscale touchscreen choices from the previous generation. Even the base LT becomes a fantastic value because the higher models include an 11.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 8.0-inch gauge cluster. The driver command center controls a large portion of the new Trax technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The myChevrolet Mobile App is also available for remote access on the 2024 Trax. For three years, the Remote Access Plan permits you to use each of the Chevy remote capabilities and diagnostic tools.

Chevy Safety Assist, a collection of six advanced features, helps you stay aware of danger and in control. Along with IntelliBeam high-beam headlights, standard features include front collision alert and automated emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane maintenance assist with lane departure warning, and even a following distance indicator. For further security, the 2024 Trax now provides optional lane change alerts, side blind zone warnings, and rear cross-traffic alert features.
