Breaking Down Trim Levels of the 2024 Chevy Malibu
LS
The Chevy Malibu LS base trim offers smooth performance and innovative new features. The LS and all higher trims come with a 1.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine that’s paired with continuous variable transmission. This combo delivers 163 horsepower at 5700 rpm and 184 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 to 3000 rpm.
The LS and all higher trims come equipped with Chevy Safety Assist: a comprehensive safety package that can reduce the risk of accidents. Chevy Safety Assist includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam.
RS
The Malibu RS trim has 18-inch all-season black wall tires and 18-inch aluminum wheels, compared to the 16-inch wheels on the LS trim. The RS has striking accents, including a black Malibu badge, a black grille with a chrome surround, and a rear spoiler.
Inside the RS trim, you’ll find an 8-way power driver seat with lumbar control and a wrapped steering wheel. Available interior features for the RS include all-weather floor mats, jet-black premium cloth seat trim, and front and rear all-weather floor liners.
1LT
The Chevy Malibu’s 1LT trim comes with 17-inch all-season black wall tires and aluminum wheels. Notable exterior features include LED daytime running lamps and body-color heated power outside mirrors.
The 1LT trim has dual-zone automatic climate control, allowing the driver and passenger to control their own temperature settings. Other interior features in this trim include switchable interior rear reading lamps, a rear seat armrest, and heated front seats to keep the driver and front passenger cozy at any temperature.
2LT
The Chevy Malibu’s highest trim is the 2LT, which offers impressive features both inside and out. The 2LT has 19-inch all-season black wall tires with aluminum wheels, LED headlamps, and LED tail lamps. There’s an available Driver Confidence and Cruise Package for the 2LT, which comes with Automatic Parking Assist, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Inside the 2LT, there’s a Bose premium 9-speaker audio system for listening to your favorite music with perfect clarity. The 8-inch diagonal HD color touchscreen gives you access to the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System with GPS navigation. You can also use this system for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
