First released in 2019, the Chevrolet Corvette sports a stunning new design and engine layout. It’s very practical both for daily use and on long trips. Even more notable, it’s the first mid-engined Corvette ever made. More precise and more powerful than before, this sports car has been rated best in its class of luxury vehicles. With the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trims, the Corvette is heavily customizable to suit your needs. Let’s take a look at what the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette has to offer.

Stunning and Capable Exterior

The Corvette was built for stylish drivers with an appreciation for great design. The 2020 model features a clean appearance, with hidden door handles and hatch releases. This convertible sports a retractable hardtop, available in Carbon-Flash or body color, which flows seamlessly into the Corvette each time. Own the road at any time using the all-season performance tires, with 19-inch wheels in the front and 20-inch wheels in the rear. The new body structure is rigid enough to take whatever the road throws at it.

Powerful New Engine

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette sports an all new 6.2-liter V-8 engine, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This generates up to 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. With this Z51 Performance Package, this can be bumped up to 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The mid-engine structure provides aerodynamic benefits, keeping the engine cool even at top speeds.

Impressive Handling

With the kind of torque it packs, the Corvette can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in a whooping 2.9 seconds. Even more, the Corvette can slow to a stop from 70 miles per hour in 149 feet only — talk about impressive handling!

There are six driving modes: Z mode for more powertrain customization, and My mode for visual and performance customization join the previous four modes — Weather, Tour, Sport, and Track. Take advantage of the adaptive suspensive dampers, electronic limited-slip differential, and grippier tires to take adventures off the beaten track.

Luxurious Interior

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette is the epitome of luxury at all three trims. In the 1LT, you can drive a heated steering in standard GT1 eight-way power seats wrapped in Mulan leather, view an infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen, stay connected with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as you own the road. Experience superior audio with the 10-speaker Bose audio system. This gets upgraded to a 14 speakers in the 2LT, plus a head-up display for rear passengers and heated and ventilated seats. More aggressive seats and a carbon fiber trim are optional.

The 3LT steps it all the way up with standard GT2 sport seats in Napa leather, sueded-microfiber upper interior trim, and a custom leather-wrapped instrument panel. You can choose from up to 13 interior colors to tailor the Corvette to your style and personality.

There’s so much the 2020 Corvette can do, but you won’t find it all out if you don’t try it out for yourself. Visit your local dealership to get your hands on this beast of the open road.
