An Attractive Exterior

The 2021 Trax has a modern, sporty look, a short hood, angular headlights, chrome accents, a prominent lower grille, and a thin, rectangular upper grille with the Chevrolet bow tie symbol in the middle. LS and LT trim levels are available, and you’ll get 6.2 inches of ground clearance. Standard features include a rear windshield wiper, all-season tires, 16-inch painted aluminum wheels, a compact spare tire, an acoustic windshield to stop road noise, and a mechanical jack with tools.

You can add 18-inch wheels with stylish red accents, fog lights, a mount for a ski carrier or bike, tinted solar glass, front and rear splash guards, black Chevy bow tie symbols on the front and rear, silver skid plates, daytime running lights, and roof rails. You can also choose  manually folding side mirrors that activate and begin heating automatically when you use the rear defroster.

Great Performance

With this vehicle, you can drive through busy streets and locate parking spaces with no problem. It’s responsive and fun to drive, and the 1.4-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder ECOTEC motor produces 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. It has a six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive capabilities, and the high-tech traction control system activates the brakes individually when needed. That way, you’ll get better control on snowy, wet, or icy roads.

The Trax comes with power steering, and it can pull up to 1,263 pounds. It can get 26 mpg in traffic and 31 mpg on the highway. With all-wheel drive, you get 24 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

A Comfortable Interior

With the Trax’s convenient features, making commutes and longer trips is easy and comfortable. You’ll get two USB ports, a 12-volt power outlet, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 3.5-inch driver information center, an eight-point digital compass, and a six-speaker sound system. Other standard features include lighting for the cargo area, adjustable front head restraints, four cargo tie-down points, voice recognition, a 7-inch touch screen, six cup holders, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

You’ll also get vents for the rear seats, foldable keys, SiriusXM satellite radio, and phone, audio, and cruise controls on the steering wheel. Folding the rear seats provides 48.4 cubic feet of cargo space, and there’s more storage underneath the cargo floor and the front passenger seat. You can select a 120-volt power outlet, a cargo net and mat, a six-way power driver’s seat, a collapsible cargo organizer, heated leatherette front seats, keyless entry, remote start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel are optional as well.
