Claude Moore is well-known for its fishing ponds, bird watching, and is a hotspot for budding photographers. The park is open daily from 7am to sunset.
Lake Fairfax Park
Take in some of the area’s most scenic views from a boat at Lake Fairfax Park. No boat? No problem! The marina offers kayak and pedal boat rentals during the summer season. After your leisurely ride on the lake consider making it a full-day affair. Enjoy a picnic and then head to the Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole with the kids. Algonkian Regional Park
A boater’s delight, Algonkian Regional Park is known as much for its views as it is its waters.
