When it comes to Asian cuisine, most Americans will think about Chinese and Japanese food. However, as Asia is such a vast continent, these cuisines barely scrape the top of what’s available nowadays. So, if you want to discover some new Asian restaurants around Sterling, VA that serve more than your basic Chinese or Japanese grub, here are some of our favorite places!

Ktown

Located at 1228 Elden Street in Herndon, Ktown is the best Korean restaurant near Sterling. The dishes all have funky Korean names, but luckily, the menu contains short descriptions in English of each meal. Dishes that are popular among the locals include bibimbap, beef bulgogi, and, of course, kimchi stew.

PHOrever Sterling

Vietnamese food is certainly enjoying a boost in popularity at the moment. Healthy dishes such as summer rolls and pho have captured the hearts of Americans, especially with the rising trend of healthy eating, and now, a pho restaurant can be found in almost every town in the US. PHOrever Sterling is our favorite in the area, and if you want to try it then simply head down to 47100 Community Plaza STE 124.

With its excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, speedy service, and seating for big groups, PHOrever Sterling is a great spot to come for a family meal. Thankfully, with seating for up to eight people, you can load everyone in your family into the new Chevrolet Tahoe Premier for a night of exotic food that you’ll never forget.

A Taste of Burma

Burmese cuisine is definitely a rarity in the US, and we are lucky to have such an excellent Burmese restaurant right here in Sterling. The business is located at 126 Edds Lane, and once you walk into this beautifully decorated joint, you will be treated to the mouth-watering aromas of this exotic cuisine.

Situated between India, China, and Thailand, Burmese food takes inspiration from all of these cuisines, and diners can be treated to Indian-style flatbreads and curries, Chinese-style stir-fries, and creamy Thai-style coconut-based curries. Of course, there are also some excellent Burmese concoctions, such as fermented tea leaf salads and fish soups.

Once you’ve tried all of these amazing places, you’ll discover that there is so much more to Asian food than basic Chinese take-out grub, and you’ll probably never go back for a chow mein again! We’d love to hear which of these cuisines you liked the most, so swing by and visit us at Ted Britt Chevrolet to tell us about your experiences while our professional mechanics give your car that much-needed repair or service.
