Do you want an SUV with a fresh, modern look and lots of creature comforts? It seems as though this is what most of us are looking for, which is why it should come as no surprise that the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer is the fastest-selling new car right now. So what makes this SUV so popular? Let’s take a look at some of the reasons it’s selling so fast.

Interior Space and Style

On the inside, the Trailblazer is spacious, with plenty of room for both people and gear. It has ample seating for five and a maximum of 54.4 cubic feet of cargo space. At the base L trim level, you’ll find features such as cloth seats, a six-way manual driver’s seat, and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat. When you upgrade to higher trim levels, additional features include heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a rear center armrest, and a remote start system. Opt for the hands-free liftgate to make loading and unloading a breeze.

An Appealing Look

You’ll definitely turn heads when you drive by in the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer. For a unique look, choose the RS trim. It comes in two-tone color options that include Mosaic Black and Scarlet Red, Oasis Blue and Mosaic Black, and Satin Steel and Scarlet Red. The first color is on the body, while the second color is on the roof. The ACTIV trim also comes in two-tone color options, but they’re more subtle with combinations like Midnight Blue and Summit White and Black Mosaic and Zeus Bronze. Available exterior upgrades include LED headlamps, a panoramic power sunroof, and 17-inch wheels.

Power Under the Hood

With two engines to choose from, the 2021 Trailblazer has the power you need under the hood. The L and LS trims come standard with a 1.2-liter ECOTEC turbo engine that puts out 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. In the other trims, a 1.3-liter ECOTEC turbo engine that delivers 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque is either standard or available. Both engines are paired to a continuously variable transmission that helps it smoothly change between gears. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for all-wheel drive to improve traction on slippery roads.

Up-to-Date Safety Technology

Take on the road with confidence, thanks to the up-to-date safety technology found on the Trailblazer. The Chevy Safety Assist suite of driver-assist technologies includes standard safety features like automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, and a following distance indicator. Driving at night will be easy with the IntelliBeam headlights that automatically switch from high to low beams. Parents will appreciate the teen driver technology, LATCH system, and rear seat reminder.
